Target Information
HDAC2는 히스톤 탈아세틸화효소(histone deacetylase) 계열에 속하며, N-말단 영역의 히스톤(H2A, H2B, H3, H4) 라이신 잔기의 탈아세틸화를 매개하는 대형 단백질 복합체를 형성합니다. YY1과 같은 아연-핑거 전사인자와 결합하여 전사 억제 복합체를 형성하며, 전사 조절, 세포 주기 진행 및 발달 과정에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 여러 전사 변이체가 생성됩니다.
