Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Cytokeratin 19 is a member of the intermediate filament protein family, exhibiting biochemical diversity with at least 20 human epithelial polypeptides.
Cytokeratins range in molecular weight from 40–68 kDa and isoelectric point between 4.9–7.8. Expression patterns of cytokeratin subtypes help distinguish epithelial malignancies and are used in immunohistochemistry, cytopathology, and flow cytometry.
Cytokeratin 19 is not expressed in hepatocytes, making it useful for identifying liver metastasis.
