Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Human thyroglobulin (hTg) is a high molecular weight glycoprotein (605 kDa) found in thyroid follicular cells. It plays a central role in the uptake, incorporation, and regulated biosynthesis of thyroid hormones T4 and T3.
Anti-thyroglobulin autoantibodies are associated with autoimmune thyroid diseases such as Hashimoto thyroiditis and Graves disease, and are also characteristic of thyroid cancer. Measurement of anti-hTG levels is useful for monitoring thyroid cancer patients.
