Product Specific Information
Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration. For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
This antiserum is directed against mouse DRIP130 and can be used to determine the presence of DRIP130 in various immunological assays. Cross-reactivity occurs with human DRIP-130. Reactivity with DRIP-130 isolated from other species is unknown.
Target Information
CRSP is ubiquitously expressed in various tissues and functions as a multimeric complex consisting of nine distinct subunits. Several members of the CRSP family share sequence similarity with multiple components of yeast transcriptional mediator proteins, including CRSP150 (related to yeast Rgr1) and CRSP70 (similar to elongation factor TFIIS).
CRSP77 and CRSP150 are related to proteins within the putative murine mediator complex, while CRSP130 and CRSP34 are largely unrelated to either murine or yeast proteins.
CRSP subunits also associate with larger multimeric co-activator complexes such as ARC/DRI, which binds directly to SREBP and nuclear hormone receptors to facilitate transcription, and with NAT, a polymerase II-interacting complex that represses activated transcription.
