Preparation:
Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human FGF-16. Anti-Human FGF-16-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human FGF-16 matrix.

Western Blot:
To detect Human FGF-16 by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human FGF-16 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

FGF-16 is a heparin-binding growth factor belonging to the FGF family. Members of this family are key regulators of prenatal development, postnatal growth, and tissue regeneration by promoting cellular proliferation and differentiation. FGF-16 signals through FGFR 2c and 3c and plays a significant role in central nervous system development.
