Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Neurogenin 1 (NEUROG1) is a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factor involved in cell fate determination during development.
NeuroG1 functions in neurogenesis and inhibits differentiation of neural stem cells into astrocytes.
It promotes neuronal differentiation by acting as a transcriptional activator and inhibits astrocyte differentiation by sequestering CREB-binding protein transcription complexes and suppressing STAT transcription factors essential for gliogenesis.
