OATP2(SLCO1B1)는 간 특이적 유기 음이온 수송체 패밀리의 구성원으로, bilirubin, 17-beta-glucuronosyl estradiol, leukotriene C4 등의 내인성 화합물의 나트륨 비의존적 흡수를 매개합니다. 또한 statins, bromosulfophthalein, rifampin과 같은 약물의 간세포 내 제거에도 관여합니다. 이 단백질을 암호화하는 유전자의 다형성은 수송체 기능 장애와 관련이 있습니다.
