Target Information
IL-22 receptor (IL-22R, also termed CRF2-9 or IL-TIF-R1) is a member of the class II cytokine receptor family. It forms a complex with IL-10 receptor beta chain to mediate IL-22 signaling through the JAK-STAT pathway.
IL-22R is expressed in normal liver and kidney tissues, as well as in HepG2 and TK-10 cell lines.
A soluble form, IL-22 binding protein (IL-22BP or IL-22RA2), neutralizes IL-22 activity by preventing its binding to the functional receptor complex.
LPS induces IL-22 expression, suggesting its role in inflammatory responses.
