Target Information

ERCC1 is a non-catalytic component of a structure-specific DNA repair endonuclease responsible for the 5′-incision during DNA repair.
In conjunction with SLX4, it participates in the first step of interstrand cross-link (ICL) repair and in processing DNA structures that can lead to cytokinesis failure.
ERCC1 is also required for homology-directed repair (HDR) of DNA double-strand breaks in cooperation with SLX4. (Source: Uniprot)
