Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
RET (rearranged during transfection) is a receptor tyrosine kinase belonging to the cadherin superfamily. It plays a critical role in neural crest development and can become oncogenically activated by cytogenetic rearrangements. RET mediates cell growth and differentiation signals.
Mutations in the RET gene are linked to multiple endocrine neoplasia type IIA and IIB, Hirschsprung disease, and medullary thyroid carcinoma. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified, though additional variants exist with unconfirmed biological validity.
