IL4 Receptor alpha (IL4RA)는 interleukin 4 및 interleukin 13과 결합하여 IgE 생성, 케모카인 및 점액 생산을 조절하는 수용체의 α-체인입니다. IL4 반응은 Th2 세포 분화를 촉진하며, IL4R alpha의 분비형 형태(sIL4R alpha)는 IL4에 의해 매개되는 세포 증식과 T세포의 IL5 상향조절을 억제할 수 있습니다. 신호 전달 능력은 없습니다. IL4RA 유전자의 대립형 변이는 알레르기 비염, 부비동염, 천식 또는 습진과 같은 아토피 상태와 관련이 있습니다.
