Target Information
CD36 (scavenger receptor class B member 3)는 다양한 세포 표면에 발현되는 단백질로, 대식세포, 혈소판, 지방세포 등에서 발견됩니다.
지질 대사, 염증, 죽상동맥경화증에서 중요한 역할을 하며, 산화 저밀도 지단백질(oxLDL), 장쇄 지방산, 사멸세포 등의 리간드 인식 및 흡수에 관여합니다.
또한 말라리아 병원체의 병인 기전에 관여하며, 혈소판 및 다양한 세포에서 thrombospondin 수용체 역할을 합니다.
CD36은 콜라겐, thrombospondin, 음이온성 인지질, 산화 LDL과 결합하고, Plasmodium falciparum 감염 적혈구의 부착을 직접 매개합니다.
이 유전자의 변이는 혈소판 당단백 결핍증을 일으킬 수 있으며, 여러 대체 스플라이싱 전사 변이가 보고되었습니다.
