Target Information
MAGEA11은 MAGEA 유전자 패밀리의 구성원으로, 이 패밀리의 모든 구성원은 마지막 엑손에 전체 코딩 서열이 위치합니다. 이들 단백질은 서로 50~80%의 서열 유사성을 가지며, 프로모터와 첫 번째 엑손은 상당한 다양성을 보입니다. 이러한 다양성은 동일한 기능이 서로 다른 전사 조절 하에서 발현될 수 있도록 합니다. MAGEA 유전자는 다양한 조직형의 종양에서 높은 수준으로 발현되며, 정상 조직에서는 고환과 태반을 제외하고는 발현되지 않습니다. 또한 MAGEA 유전자는 Xq28 염색체에 군집되어 있으며, 일부 유전 질환(예: dyskeratosis congenita)과 관련이 있을 가능성이 있습니다.
