Target Information
Formin-like protein 1 (FRL1) is a formin-related protein involved in morphogenesis, cytokinesis, and cell polarity. Formins are conserved proteins expressed in all eukaryotes, containing domains such as DAD (diaphanous autoregulatory domain), FH2 (formin homology 2), and GBD/FH3 (Rho GTPase-binding/formin homology 3). FRL1 is cytoplasmic and highly expressed in spleen, lymph node, and bone marrow cells. It may play roles in cell motility, macrophage survival, and cytoskeletal organization.
