Solute carrier family 27 (fatty acid transporter) member 6 (SLC27A6)는 긴 사슬 지방산의 흡수에 관여하는 fatty acid transport protein family(FATP)의 구성원입니다.
SLC27A6는 주로 심장 세포막(sarcolemma)에 발현되며, 긴 사슬 지방산 흡수에 관여하는 또 다른 분자인 CD36과 공위치(colocalization)합니다.
