- Predicted to react with mouse, rat, Drosophila, non-human primate, and rabbit based on sequence homology.
- On non-reducing gel: intact IgG appears as ~150 kDa band; upon reduction, generates ~25 kDa light chain and ~50 kDa heavy chain.
- Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates.

Target Information
Rb is a tumor suppressor nuclear phosphoprotein that binds DNA. It is phosphorylated on serine and threonine residues and forms complexes with SV40 large T antigen, adenovirus E1A, and HPV-16 E. Rb regulates transcription, and loss of function leads to uncontrolled cell growth.
Mutations in the RB gene are associated with cancers of breast, colon, prostate, kidney, nasopharynx, and leukemia.
