Villin은 위장관 및 신장의 브러시 보더 미세융모의 액틴 코어 번들과 연관된 세포골격 단백질입니다. 이 단백질은 Ca²⁺ 및 인지질에 의해 조절되는 방식으로 액틴과 상호작용할 수 있습니다. Villin은 위장관 및 췌장의 선암종(adenocarcinoma)에 대한 매우 특이적인 마커이며, 일부 Merkel 세포종 및 폐, 전립선, 난소, 신장 선암종에서도 발현됩니다.
