Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, it is recommended to add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
PRKY (Protein Kinase, Y-linked) is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family, specifically the cAMP-dependent kinase subfamily.
Encoded near the pseudoautosomal region on chromosome Y, PRKY contains a protein kinase domain responsible for ATP-dependent phosphorylation of target proteins.
PRKY and PRKX are functionally similar, with PRKX being essential for macrophage differentiation and renal epithelial cell migration.
Defects in PRKY and PRKX genes are associated with sex reversal disorders (XX males and XY females).
