Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain an antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

PYCARD functions as a key mediator in apoptosis and inflammation. It promotes caspase-mediated apoptosis involving caspase-8 and caspase-9, and participates in activation of the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway. It plays a crucial role in macrophage pyroptosis and inflammasome assembly, leading to caspase-1 activation and cytokine processing. PYCARD acts as an adaptor protein in innate immunity, facilitating inflammasome formation with receptors such as NLRP2, NLRP3, AIM2, and IFI16. It is also implicated in adaptive immunity, dendritic cell maturation, and NF-kappa-B signaling regulation.
