Target Information

Neurotrophic factors regulate the survival, differentiation, and maintenance of neurons in both the peripheral and central nervous systems, as well as other neural crest-derived cell types. Developing sympathetic neurons are dependent on nerve growth factor (NGF) during the period of target competition in vivo.
Antibodies specific to NGFR p75 are valuable tools for detecting and characterizing NGFR p75, contributing to the understanding of neural development, plasticity, and repair mechanisms.
