Rat IgG2a는 면역글로불린의 한 아형으로, 연구 및 진단 응용 분야에서 일반적으로 사용됩니다. Rat 면역계에 의해 생성되며, 보체 활성화와 항체 의존성 세포 매개 세포독성(ADCC)을 유도할 수 있습니다. 분자량은 약 160 kDa이며 두 개의 heavy chain과 두 개의 light chain으로 구성되어 있습니다. 주로 rat 모델을 이용한 실험에서 대조 또는 기준 항체로 사용되며, 유세포 분석(flow cytometry) 및 면역조직화학(immunohistochemistry)에도 널리 활용됩니다.
