Target Information
PIK3CG (p110 gamma)는 class IB phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase 계열의 유일한 구성원으로, class IA 계열과 함께 세포 내에서 중요한 second messenger인 PIP2를 생성합니다.
PIK3CG는 주로 GPCR 신호전달 하위에서 작용하며, 인산이노시티드의 3-하이드록실기를 인산화하는 효소입니다.
이 단백질은 E-cadherin 매개 세포 간 접착에 의해 유도되는 세포 외 신호의 중요한 조절자로, 상피세포의 구조적·기능적 완전성을 유지하는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다.
또한, NK 세포의 세포독성 조절에도 관여하며, 해당 유전자는 골수성 백혈병에서 흔히 결실된 염색체 7 구간에 위치합니다.
