Target Information
Histone H3는 모든 진핵세포의 염색질 내에서 DNA 결합 단백질로 존재합니다. H3는 다른 4개의 핵심 히스톤 단백질과 함께 DNA에 결합하여 뉴클레오솜 구조를 형성합니다. 히스톤은 전사 조절, DNA 복구, 복제 및 염색체 안정성에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 히스톤은 메틸화, 아세틸화, 인산화 등의 다양한 번역 후 변형을 통해 크로마틴 구조를 변화시키거나 특정 전사 인자의 결합을 유도합니다. H3의 N-말단 꼬리 부분은 뉴클레오솜 핵심에서 돌출되어 있으며, 이러한 변형은 세포 내 다양한 과정을 조절합니다.
