Target Information
HLA-DRA는 HLA class II alpha chain paralogue 중 하나로, alpha와 beta chain으로 구성된 heterodimer 형태를 가지며, 세포막에 결합되어 있습니다. 이 단백질은 세포 외 단백질에서 유래된 펩타이드를 제시함으로써 면역 시스템에서 중심적인 역할을 합니다. Class II 분자는 항원 제시 세포(APC: B lymphocytes, dendritic cells, macrophages)에 발현됩니다.
Alpha chain은 약 33–35 kDa이며, 유전자는 5개의 exon을 포함합니다.
- Exon 1: leader peptide
- Exon 2–3: extracellular domains
- Exon 4: transmembrane domain 및 cytoplasmic tail
DRA는 peptide binding 부분에서 다형성이 없으며, DRB1, DRB3, DRB4, DRB5의 유일한 alpha chain으로 작용합니다.
