For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Ki-67 is a nuclear protein expressed during cell cycle phases G1, S, G2, and M. It contains a forkhead-associated (FHA) domain that mediates association with euchromatin at the perichromosomal layer, centromeric heterochromatin, and nucleolus.
Ki-67 expression varies throughout the cell cycle—perinucleolar in G1, nuclear matrix in G2, and chromosomal during M phase. It is widely used as a proliferation marker since it is absent in G0 cells and increases from G1 through mitosis.
Ki-67 antibodies help determine the proliferative fraction in neoplasms, correlating low Ki-67 index with low-grade tumors. It is also used as a neuronal marker of cell cycling and proliferation.
