Target Information
CDC42BPA (MRCKA) is a serine/threonine kinase involved in actin cytoskeleton assembly and organization.
It contains three coiled-coil domains and an N-terminal region that mediate intermolecular interactions leading to MRCK alpha multimerization.
Transautophosphorylation regulates MRCK alpha catalytic activity.
Binding of phorbol esters releases autoinhibition, enabling N-terminal dimerization and kinase activation.
