Target Information
The MS4A12 protein is a cell surface protein primarily expressed in the apical membrane of colonocytes.
Silencing of this gene in colon cancer cells inhibits proliferation, motility, and chemotactic invasion.
This gene belongs to a cluster located on chromosome 11, and two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
