Product Specific Information
The monoclonal antibody SolA15 recognizes mouse and rat Ki-67, a 300 kDa nuclear protein expressed during all active phases of the cell cycle (G1, S, G2, M) but absent in resting cells (G0). It redistributes from the nucleus to chromosomes during mitosis and serves as a key marker for cell proliferation and tumor growth assessment.
This antibody also recognizes Ki-67 in human, non-human primate, and canine samples.
Applications Reported: Intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Validated using mouse splenocytes and the Foxp3/Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Set (Product #00-5523-00). Recommended usage ≤ 0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume).
Brilliant Violet™ 605 (BV605) emits at 605 nm and is compatible with cytometers equipped with a 405 nm violet laser. Use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.
Light Sensitivity: Protect from light to prevent photo-induced oxidation.
Fixation: Compatible with IC Fixation Buffer (00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C. Not compatible with methanol-based fixation.

Target Information
Ki-67 is a nuclear protein expressed during late G1, S, G2, and M phases of the cell cycle. It associates with euchromatin, centromeric heterochromatin, and the nucleolus through its FHA domain. Ki-67 serves as a proliferation marker, absent in G0 cells, and correlates with tumor grade and growth fraction. It is widely used in oncology and neuroscience research for assessing cell proliferation.
