Target Information
The IL13RA1 protein is a subunit of the interleukin 13 receptor. It forms a receptor complex with IL4 receptor alpha, shared by IL13 and IL4 receptors. IL13RA1 acts as the primary IL13-binding subunit and may also be part of IL4 receptors. It has been shown to bind tyrosine kinase TYK2, mediating signaling processes that activate JAK1, STAT3, and STAT6 pathways induced by IL13 and IL4.
