Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
VAMP8 is involved in targeting and/or fusion of transport vesicles to their target membranes. It plays roles in:
- Dense-granule secretion in platelets
- Regulated enzyme secretion in pancreatic acinar cells
- Abscission of the midbody during cell division, leading to separate daughter cells
- Homotypic fusion of early and late endosomes
