- 이 항체는 서열 상동성에 근거하여 소, 개, 침팬지, 말, 오랑우탄, 영장류, 붉은털원숭이 및 Xenopus에서도 반응할 것으로 예측됩니다.
- 비환원 조건의 젤에서 약 150 kDa의 밴드로 나타나며, 환원 시 약 25 kDa의 경쇄 및 50 kDa의 중쇄 밴드가 생성됩니다.

이 복합체는 표적 단백질의 유비퀴틴화를 매개하며, ARIH1과 협력하여 작용합니다 (PubMed:27565346).
복합체 내에서 기질과 유비퀴틴 결합 효소의 위치를 조정함으로써 촉매 작용에 기여하며, cullin의 neddylation 상태에 따라 활성이 조절됩니다.
ECS(VHL) 복합체는 저산소 유도 인자(HIF)의 유비퀴틴화를 매개합니다.
