Target Information
PCDH7 belongs to the protocadherin gene family, a subfamily of the cadherin superfamily.
The encoded protein has an extracellular domain with seven cadherin repeats and functions in cell-cell recognition and adhesion.
Alternative splicing generates isoforms with distinct cytoplasmic tails.
