Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene contains a RING zinc finger motif, known to be involved in protein–protein interactions. It transiently associates with microtubules, myosin, and titin during muscle sarcomere assembly, acting as a transient adaptor and playing a regulatory role in sarcomere assembly. Four alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been described.
