Target Information
THRAP3 is a 955 amino acid nuclear receptor-associated protein and a member of the thyroid hormone receptor-associated proteins (TRAP) family, containing a LISH domain. It functions as a 150 kDa subunit of the multiprotein TRAP complex, contributing to the structural integrity of the fibrillar center and dense fibrillar component in the nucleolus. THRAP3 plays an important role in transcriptional coactivation and interacts with DKC1, NOP5/NAP65, and fibrillarin. Northern blot analysis indicates that TRAP150 is ubiquitously expressed in human tissues.
