Target Information
MIP-1α와 MIP-1β는 구조적·기능적으로 관련된 CC 케모카인으로, 세균·바이러스·기생충·진균 감염 시 염증세포(대식세포, 림프구, NK 세포 등)의 이동과 활성 상태를 조절하는 데 관여합니다.
두 분자는 단핵구에 유사한 영향을 미치지만, 림프구에 대한 작용은 달라 MIP-1α는 CD8+ 림프구를, MIP-1β는 CD4+ 림프구를 선택적으로 유인합니다.
또한 MIP-1α와 MIP-1β는 B세포, 호산구, 수지상세포의 강력한 화학유인 물질로 알려져 있으며, 인간 및 생쥐 조혈세포에서 활성을 보입니다.
