Target Information
TIMP1 (metalloproteinase inhibitor 1)는 금속단백질분해효소 억제제로서 콜라겐분해효소 등의 표적 금속단백질분해효소와 1:1 복합체를 형성하여, 촉매 활성 부위의 아연 보조인자에 결합함으로써 비가역적으로 억제합니다.
TIMP1은 MMP1, MMP2, MMP3, MMP7, MMP8, MMP9, MMP10, MMP11, MMP12, MMP14, MMP16에 작용하며, 세포 성장인자로서 세포 분화, 이동, 사멸을 조절합니다. 또한 CD63 및 ITGB1을 통해 세포 신호전달 경로를 활성화합니다.
