Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Thioredoxins (Trx) are small multifunctional proteins with oxidoreductase activity, present in nearly all living cells.
Trx contains a redox-active disulfide/dithiol group within the conserved Cys-Gly-Pro-Cys active site. The cysteine residues can form intramolecular disulfide bonds, which are reduced by thioredoxin reductase using NADPH as an electron donor.
Reduced Trx acts as a hydrogen donor for ribonucleotide reductase, essential for DNA synthesis, and serves as a general protein disulfide reductase involved in growth and redox regulation.
Targets reduced by Trx include protein disulfide-isomerase (PDI) and transcription factors such as p53, NF-κB, and AP-1. Trx also participates in H₂O₂ removal when coupled with methionine sulfoxide reductase or peroxiredoxins.
