For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882) to ensure carrier-free antibody preparation.

Target Information

TSPAN7 belongs to the transmembrane 4 superfamily (tetraspanin family), which includes cell-surface proteins with four hydrophobic domains. These proteins mediate signal transduction events involved in cell development, activation, growth, and motility.
TSPAN7 is a cell surface glycoprotein that may regulate neurite outgrowth and forms complexes with integrins.
Mutations in this gene are associated with X-linked mental retardation and neuropsychiatric diseases such as Huntington’s chorea, fragile X syndrome, and myotonic dystrophy.
