ABCA8(ATP-binding cassette, sub-family A (ABC1), member 8)은 1,581 아미노산으로 구성된 다중 막관통 단백질로, 두 개의 ABC transporter 도메인을 포함합니다.
간, 심장, 골격근에서 특히 높게 발현되며, ATP 의존적 지질 친화성 약물 수송체로 작용하며 여러 대체 스플라이싱 아이소폼 형태로 존재합니다.
