Target Information
OLIG2는 기본 helix-loop-helix 전사인자로, 뇌의 희소돌기교세포종(oligodendroglial tumors)에서 발현됩니다. 이 단백질은 복측 신경외배엽 전구세포의 운명을 조절하는 필수 인자입니다. 또한 t(14;21)(q11.2;q22) 염색체 전좌와 관련된 T세포 급성 림프모구성 백혈병에 관여합니다. 이 유전자는 다운 증후군과 관련된 학습 장애에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 염색체 21의 영역에 위치합니다.
Tissue Specificity: 뇌의 희소돌기교세포에서 발현되며, 희소돌기교세포종에서는 강하게, 성상세포종에서는 약~중간 수준으로 발현됩니다. 교모세포종에서는 발현이 다양합니다.
