For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

GAPDH (Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase) is a catalytic enzyme involved in glycolysis, forming a tetramer of identical 37-kDa subunits. It catalyzes the reversible reduction of 1,3-bisphosphoglycerate to glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate in the presence of NADPH.
Beyond glycolysis, GAPDH participates in DNA replication, repair, nuclear RNA export, membrane fusion, and microtubule bundling. It plays roles in gene expression during apoptosis and is implicated in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Huntington’s.
Due to its high expression in most tissues, GAPDH serves as a reliable protein loading control in Western blot analysis.
