Target Information
Alpha Tubulin은 α 및 β 튜불린 서브유닛으로 구성된 헤테로다이머의 일부로, 각 단백질은 약 55 kDa의 분자량을 갖습니다. α-β 튜불린 헤테로다이머는 미세소관(microtubule)의 기본 구성 단위로서 대부분의 진핵세포에서 발견됩니다. 미세소관은 세포 내 구조적 지지체 및 수송 경로로 작용하며, 유사분열 과정에서도 핵심적인 역할을 수행합니다. γ 튜불린은 미세소관의 형성(nucleation)에 중요한 역할을 합니다. α 및 β 튜불린 유전자는 종 간에 매우 보존되어 있으며, 인간 α 튜불린 유전자는 마우스 및 랫의 Tuba1 유전자와 높은 유사성을 보입니다. Northern blot 분석 결과, α 튜불린 유전자의 발현은 형태학적으로 분화된 신경세포에서 주로 나타납니다.
