Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human SOX1, SOX2, and SOX15 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
The SOX gene family is defined by the Sry-related HMG box domain that mediates sequence-specific DNA binding. SOX proteins play diverse roles in development and are conserved across species.
SOX21 may act as a transcription activator of OPRM1. Overexpression of SOX21 can upregulate the OPRM1 distal promoter in MOR-expressing neuronal cells.
