Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Estrogen-related receptor alpha 1 (ERRα, ERR1) is an orphan nuclear hormone receptor that shares 68% amino acid identity in its DNA-binding domain with the estrogen receptor. ERRα binds to an ERRα response element (ERRE) containing the consensus half-site 5'-tnaaggtca-3', and may regulate medium-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase (MCAD) promoter activity. ERR1 functions as a metabolic regulator and is highly expressed in tissues that metabolize fatty acids.
The corresponding gene for ERR1 is NR3B1.
