This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is >95% by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
STK38 (also known as NDR; Nuclear Dbf2-related protein) is a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the AGC kinase family and regulated by Mob proteins. Activation occurs upon Fas and TNFα receptor stimulation, promoting phosphorylation at the hydrophobic motif. NDR acts as a pro-apoptotic kinase and is a key component of the RASSF1A/MST1 signaling cascade. It plays a crucial role in mitotic chromosome alignment fidelity, is incorporated into HIV-1 particles, and cleaved by HIV-1 protease. STK38-driven centrosome duplication requires Cdk2 activity, and Cdk2-induced centrosome amplification is affected by reduced STK38 activity.
