Target Information
Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins and are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of their specified target.
Secondary antibodies provide versatility by enabling the use of multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, or label conjugation) for high specificity.
