Target Information
Cell surface receptor involved in signal transduction. Recruits PTPN11/SHP-2 to the cell membrane and acts as a substrate of PTPN11/SHP-2. Functions as a major receptor for concanavalin-A (ConA), mediating signaling that may involve Src family tyrosine-protein kinases. Isoform 3 has a dominant negative role, blocking tyrosine phosphorylation of MPZL1 induced by ConA. Isoform 1 may regulate integrin-mediated cell motility.
