Product Specific Information

Recombinant antibodies are produced using specific genes that code for the desired antibodies. These genes are cloned into an expression vector and expressed in vitro. The advantages of recombinant antibodies include improved specificity and consistent performance across lots.

Invitrogen™ Alexa Fluor™ Plus antibodies offer brighter fluorescence and improved signal-to-noise ratios compared to conventional Alexa Fluor™ antibodies. The proprietary dye chemistry enhances visualization of low-abundance targets and provides superior imaging results.

Usage Note:
Centrifuge the conjugate solution briefly before use and apply only the supernatant to reduce nonspecific background staining. Optimal antibody dilution should be determined empirically.

Applications Tested:
This MBSA43 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of human PBMCs. Recommended use ≤ 0.25 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number can range from 10⁵ to 10⁸ cells/test. Antibody titration is recommended for best performance.

Target Information

This antibody binds with high affinity to the poliovirus receptor (PVR), leading to increased IL10 secretion, decreased IL12B secretion, and suppression of T cell activation by promoting the generation of mature immunoregulatory dendritic cells.
