Specificity Comments:
LRG1 (leucine-rich α-2-glycoprotein) is a 347 amino acid secreted protein containing 8 LRR (leucine-rich repeat) motifs and one LRRCT domain. The LRR family, including LRG1, is involved in protein–protein interactions, signal transduction, cell adhesion, and development. LRG1 is mainly found in plasma and expressed during granulocyte differentiation. The LRG1 gene spans approximately 3,000 bases and maps to human chromosome 19p13.3, which is gene-dense and encodes many immunoglobulin superfamily members (e.g., killer cell and leukocyte Ig-like receptors, ICAMs, CEACAM, PSG families, and Fc receptors).
Target Information
The leucine-rich repeat (LRR) family of proteins, including LRG1, participates in protein–protein interaction, signal transduction, and cell adhesion and development. LRG1 is expressed during granulocyte differentiation.
