Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
MAP1A and MAP1B are microtubule-associated proteins mediating interactions between microtubules and cytoskeletal components. Each consists of a heavy chain and multiple light chain subunits. The LC3A protein encoded by this gene is one of the light chain subunits and can associate with either MAP1A or MAP1B. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
